Cyprus
Popular for its gorgeous beaches and spectacular archaeological sites, Cyprus is a great travel option that’s just a 4 hours flight away from Dubai.
Cyprus is currently operating on a color-coded system for entries, and the UAE is currently on the red list. This means that you will need to obtain a Cyprus Flight Pass and must provide a negative PCR test 72 hours taken in Dubai before departure and have a second test upon arrival. France
France has implemented its traffic light system categorizing countries to green, amber, and red lists. Fully vaccinated travelers from countries on the green list will be able to gain entry into France without any restrictions and quarantine measures. Non-vaccinated travelers from the green list will have to present proof of a PCR or antigen test taken within the last 72 hours before their arrival to France.
At present, the UAE is included in France’s amber list; which means fully vaccinated Emirati travelers are only required to present a PCR test taken in the last 72 hours or an antigen test taken in the last 48 hours upon their arrival in France. No quarantine will be necessary. Note that unvaccinated travelers from amber list countries will be required to self-isolate for seven days.
Russia
Russia has been gradually expanding the list of countries from which international tourism is permitted, and as of March 2021, this stands at 24. For arrivals from those approved countries, which includes the UAE, a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours is required.
Spain
Spain is open for vaccinated tourists, with a separate list for low-risk countries and all others grouped under blanket restrictions. The UAE doesn’t fall on the low-risk list, so blanket restrictions apply, meaning UAE residents must present a vaccination certificate that proves they’ve been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before traveling. Tourists must also complete a health control form within 48 hours before departure on spth.gob.es, or using the Spain Travel Health app.
